Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 330,000 km, about 1.2 times what a 18-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
- The NCT ran out in July 2020. Ask whether it has been tested since.
Why we say so
43 Audi A4s from 2007 to 2009, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,720 to €2,950, with about 336,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 7 of the 43, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
