Audi A3

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 224,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• An older car: 20 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT ran out in January 2025. Ask whether it has been tested since.

Why we say so

8 Audi A3s from 2005 to 2007, petrol, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,350 to €2,210, with about 206,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 6 of the 8, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
