Volkswagen Tiguan 2009

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 193,121 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 79,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 272,000 km.
• An older car: 17 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT runs out in January 2027: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.

Why we say so

5 Volkswagen Tiguans from 2008 to 2010, diesel are for sale now. Most ask €2,750 to €3,450, with about 272,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 1 of the 5, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
