Volkswagen Scirocco open to swap

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 217,626 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 21,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 238,000 km.
• An older car: 15 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
