Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 261,000 km, about 1.3 times what a 13-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- An older car: 13 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year.
Why we say so
158 Volkswagen Passats from 2012 to 2014, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €3,500 to €5,200, with about 281,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 121 of the 158, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
