Vw Passat 2008 test 03-27 and tax 01-27.

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 300,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

42 Volkswagen Passats from 2007 to 2009, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,240 to €2,560, with about 313,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 19 of the 42. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
