Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 256,300 km, about 1.6 times what a 11-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 33,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 223,000 km.
- An older car: 11 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year.
- The NCT runs out in January 2027: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
Why we say so
381 Volkswagen Golfs from 2014 to 2016, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €7,250 to €11,500, with about 223,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 207 of the 381. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
