Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 299,337 km, about 1.5 times what a 13-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 35,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 264,000 km.
- An older car: 13 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year.
- The NCT ran out in August 2025. Ask whether it has been tested since.
Why we say so
292 Volkswagen Golfs from 2012 to 2014, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €4,500 to €7,500, with about 264,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 179 of the 292. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
