Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 301,000 km, about 1.5 times what a 13-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 39,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 262,000 km.
- An older car: 13 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year.
- The NCT runs out in January 2027: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
Why we say so
301 Volkswagen Golfs from 2012 to 2014, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €4,600 to €7,500, with about 262,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 212 of the 301. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
