2013 Volkswagen Golf 1.4 tsi

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 280,444 km, about 1.4 times what a 13-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 183,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 98,000 km.
• An older car: 13 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year.

Why we say so

407 Volkswagen Golfs from 2012 to 2014, petrol, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €8,950 to €12,000, with about 98,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 405 of the 407, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
