Worth knowing
- Low kilometres for its age: 125,000 km, about 48% under the usual for a 16-year-old car.
- 84,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 209,000 km.
- An older car: 16 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
28 Volkswagen Golfs from 2009 to 2011, petrol, manual are for sale now. Most ask €3,650 to €6,560, with about 209,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 6 of the 28, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
