Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 321,129 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 68,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 389,000 km.
- An older car: 20 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
8 Volkswagen Golfs from 2005 to 2007, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €840 to €2,650, with about 389,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 4 of the 8. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
