Toyota rav4

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 279,673 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 60,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 340,000 km.
• An older car: 19 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT ran out in December 2024. Ask whether it has been tested since.
