Vehicle

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 216,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 62,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 154,000 km.
• An older car: 19 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

8 Suzuki Swifts from 2006 to 2008, petrol, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,180 to €1,960, with about 154,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 3 of the 8. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
