Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 257,658 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 35,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 293,000 km.
- An older car: 15 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
- The NCT ran out in May 2021. Ask whether it has been tested since.
Why we say so
65 Skoda Octavias from 2010 to 2012, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €2,200 to €4,000, with about 293,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 4 of the 65, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
