2010 Renault Megane 1.5DCI NCT 06/27

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 359,549 km, about 1.5 times what a 16-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 114,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 246,000 km.
• An older car: 16 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

63 Renault Meganes from 2009 to 2011, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,720 to €2,720, with about 246,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 54 of the 63, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
