2009 Opel Corsa tax & test

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 300,000 km, about 1.2 times what a 17-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 49,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 251,000 km.
• An older car: 17 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

7 Opel Corsas from 2008 to 2010, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,980 to €2,300, with about 251,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 7 of the 7, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
