Mitsubishi Lancer 2004

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 362,407 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 295,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 68,000 km.
• An older car: 22 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT runs out in February 2027: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
