Mini Cooper 1.6 Petrol 2005

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 236,572 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 84,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 152,000 km.
• An older car: 21 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

14 MINI Coopers from 2004 to 2006, petrol are for sale now. Most ask €2,800 to €7,860, with about 152,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 11 of the 14, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
