Mercedes Benz S Class

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 285,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 50,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 235,000 km.
• An older car: 19 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

5 Mercedes Benz S Class from 2006 to 2008, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €3,700 to €8,000, with about 235,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 4 of the 5, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
