Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 300,000 km, about 1.3 times what a 15-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 63,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 237,000 km.
- An older car: 15 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
- The NCT runs out in January 2027: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
Why we say so
125 Mercedes Benz E Class from 2010 to 2012, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €4,500 to €7,500, with about 237,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 53 of the 125. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
