2008 Mercedes-Benz 220CDI Avantgarde

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 228,526 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 65,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 294,000 km.
• An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

12 Mercedes Benz E Class from 2007 to 2009, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €2,720 to €4,210, with about 294,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 8 of the 12. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
