Worth knowing

• Low kilometres for its age: 170,000 km, about 46% under the usual for a 21-year-old car.
• 65,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 105,000 km.
• An older car: 21 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT ran out in January 2026. Ask whether it has been tested since.
