Kia Rio (Nct + Tax)

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 224,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 54,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 170,000 km.
• An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

6 Kia Rios from 2007 to 2009, petrol, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,460 to €1,500, with about 170,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 6 of the 6, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
