Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 261,000 km, about 1.3 times what a 13-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- An older car: 13 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year.
- The NCT ran out in July 2023. Ask whether it has been tested since.
Why we say so
85 Hyundai I40s from 2012 to 2014, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €2,900 to €4,950, with about 243,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 3 of the 85, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
