Ford Mondeo

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 378,369 km, about 1.4 times what a 18-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 111,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 267,000 km.
• An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT ran out in July 2026. Ask whether it has been tested since.

Why we say so

17 Ford Mondeos from 2007 to 2009, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,100 to €2,500, with about 267,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 15 of the 17, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
