2008 Ford focus 1.6 desiel

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 258,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 30,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 288,000 km.
• An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

28 Ford Focus from 2007 to 2009, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,300 to €2,250, with about 288,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 23 of the 28, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
