Ford Focus 2005

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 298,000 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 111,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 187,000 km.
• An older car: 21 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

18 Ford Focus from 2004 to 2006, petrol, manual are for sale now. Most ask €1,050 to €2,140, with about 187,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 16 of the 18, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
