Ford Focus 1.6l petrol Ghia automatic 2005

Worth knowing

• Low kilometres for its age: 151,000 km, about 52% under the usual for a 21-year-old car.
• 36,000 km fewer than similar cars for sale, which have about 187,000 km.
• An older car: 21 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT runs out in November 2026: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
