Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 280,018 km, about 1.2 times what a 16-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- An older car: 16 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
- The NCT ran out in May 2024. Ask whether it has been tested since.
Why we say so
14 BMW X5s from 2009 to 2011, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €7,760 to €10,800, with about 274,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 1 of the 14, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
