2006 X3 nct 02/2027

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 359,000 km, about 1.2 times what a 20-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 110,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 249,000 km.
• An older car: 20 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

3 BMW X3s from 2005 to 2007, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €2,520 to €4,000, with about 249,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 3 of the 3, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
