Worth knowing
- Above-average kilometres: 213,000 km, about 1.3 times what a 11-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- An older car: 11 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year.
- The NCT runs out in January 2027: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
Why we say so
439 BMW 5 Series from 2014 to 2016, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €9,800 to €15,000, with about 209,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 400 of the 439, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
