Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 283,612 km, high whatever its age. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- An older car: 18 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
Why we say so
97 BMW 5 Series from 2007 to 2009, diesel are for sale now. Most ask €2,220 to €3,600, with about 303,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 8 of the 97, near the top. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
