Bmw e39 540i m-sport 4.4 v8

Worth knowing

• Low kilometres for its age: 173,808 km, about 54% under the usual for a 25-year-old car.
• An older car: 25 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT runs out in January 2027: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
