BMW 4 Series

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 230,000 km, about 1.4 times what a 11-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 44,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 186,000 km.
• An older car: 11 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year.
• The NCT runs out in November 2026: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.

Why we say so

158 BMW 4 Series from 2014 to 2016, diesel, automatic are for sale now. Most ask €12,500 to €17,000, with about 186,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 136 of the 158, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
