Worth knowing
- A lot of kilometres: 318,649 km, about 1.2 times what a 17-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
- 46,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 273,000 km.
- An older car: 17 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
- The NCT runs out in November 2026: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.
Why we say so
36 BMW 3 Series from 2008 to 2010, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €2,500 to €4,560, with about 273,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 17 of the 36. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
