Bmw e90

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 394,288 km, about 1.4 times what a 19-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 98,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 296,000 km.
• An older car: 19 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

16 BMW 3 Series from 2006 to 2008, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €2,220 to €4,290, with about 296,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 14 of the 16, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
