BMW 2 Series 218d Sport

Worth knowing

• Above-average kilometres: 239,999 km, about 1.5 times what a 11-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 63,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 177,000 km.
• An older car: 11 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year.
• The NCT runs out in January 2027: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.

Why we say so

48 BMW 2 Series from 2014 to 2016, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €8,000 to €12,000, with about 177,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 26 of the 48. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
