Audi A6

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 290,000 km, about 1.3 times what a 15-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• An older car: 15 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.

Why we say so

59 Audi A6s from 2010 to 2012, diesel, manual are for sale now. Most ask €4,020 to €6,500, with about 300,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 35 of the 59. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
