Car

Worth knowing

• A lot of kilometres: 391,069 km, about 1.5 times what a 17-year-old car usually has. Ask for the service history, and when the timing belt and clutch were last done.
• 55,000 km more than similar cars for sale, which have about 336,000 km.
• An older car: 17 years old. Cars over ten years need an NCT every year, and repairs and parts weigh more in what it costs to keep.
• The NCT runs out in December 2026: budget for the test and any repairs it asks for.

Why we say so

35 Audi A6s from 2008 to 2010, diesel are for sale now. Most ask €2,380 to €3,650, with about 336,000 km on the clock. This one is cheaper than 31 of the 35, near the bottom of the range. The market price above also allows for its exact year and mileage.
